Stuck

I’ve been thinking a lot about how we “get unstuck,” mostly in preparation for my Mugs & Mornings session this week. I’m also fresh out of a “stuck” period myself, so I suppose it’s about my personal experience as well.

Before I read Designing Your Life (DYL), I’m not sure I could have told you that I had a specific way to get unstuck. I mean, I have been stuck many times and managed to move through it, but I didn’t have a sense of how to do it again if I needed to. And let’s be real: it’s going to happen again.

I walked away from reading DYL with several great strategies for myself:

  • Reframing problems - changing my perspective

  • Mind mapping - writing it all down

  • Letting go - putting projects in time-out or just kicking them to the curb

I’ll talk about these and more on Thursday morning If you check back in the coming weeks, there will be more discussion here. It’s a learning process.
